Barrier-Free Discovery

As a ministry, we work hard to ensure that every child grows up with barrier-free opportunities to learn about God's love and their true value. With this principle in mind, we offer families in need of financial assistance the chance to give their child(ren) an unforgettable summer experience for free.

How It Works

Champion Life Centre (Guelph) offers sponsorship to families connected with local community partners in Guelph and surrounding cities. Through a referral system via local agencies in Guelph, parents may apply for sponsorship for their child(ren) to attend the Discovery Camp.

Sponsorship is given on a first-come-first-served basis. Every effort shall be made to accommodate sponsorship requests, however, available slots are limited. Parents will be contacted as soon as their sponsorship application is accepted and approved.

Can I apply on behalf of a family?

We always encourage parents to be the ones submitting the application. However, we understand that in some cases, parents may need assistance in filling out the application. If you are a staff member of a local community organization, yes, you may submit an application on behalf of a family. Please note though that the parents must themselves sign the Consent, Release & Waiver, and Media Release included in the application.

NOTE: Submitting a sponsorship application does NOT automatically guarantee sponsorship approval. Best efforts will be made to accommodate everyone, however slots are limited. One of our team members will be in touch to confirm approval of sponsorship.
