Description

Champion Life Centre (CLC) Guelph is a ministry with operational and financial excellence as well as transparent accountability. CLC Guelph has been blessed to experience tremendous growth as a local church. We are looking for a Part-Time Finance and Office Assistant who can support the growth of the local ministry while maintaining operational excellence and financial integrity.

The role involves 15 hours/week and starts off as a 1-year part-time contract with the opportunity for renewal or a permanent role as the Lord continues to bless the church.

    • Passionate about serving God and His church

    • Faithful, diligent, and teachable

    • Able to work at the required pace to meet expected deadlines

    • Experienced in financial and office administration work

    • A faithful steward in their own personal finances

    • A person of integrity

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, accounting software (preferably SAGE), and database management

    • Perform office reception duties

    • Oversee the church greeting card program

    • Prepare church reports

    • Ensure data quality by managing the church database

    • Process accounts payables and accounts receivables

    • Perform gift entries and manage donor information for charitable tax receipts and stewardship

    • Perform special projects as required

    • Assist the Ministry Engagement Coordinator and Pastors in other duties as assigned

    • Office administration and accounting skills and experience

    • Business correspondence skills — oral and written

    • High adaptability to technology, apps, and other cloud-based collaborative applications/platforms

    • File organization skills
