Welcome our New Staff
Dear Family,
In case you missed it, I recently shared an announcement about the upcoming changes to our church staff. Please join me in welcoming our new team member --- Ritzael "Princess" Lacson!
Ritzael or Princess will take on the Ministry Engagement Coordinator [MEC] role that Kristin leaves as she pursues law school. Princess brings with her an extensive background in event planning and project coordination with her previous roles as Student Relations Assistant at the University of Waterloo, and as a Business Development Representative with DOZR Inc.
As one of our faithful members and dedicated volunteers, we are confident that Princess’ passion for Jesus, her servant’s heart and her skills will help continue engaging our local church towards spiritual growth and the work of God.
It’s our pleasure to have a Princess on board! 😉
Meet Princess
As the Ministry Engagement Coordinator [MEC], I work closely with our pastors, leadership teams, and volunteers to ensure that our ministries are impactful and effective in furthering God's Kingdom here in Guelph and around the world. I also collaborate with our Resource Centre for church-wide projects and events to bring our Champion Life family closer together in service and faith.
If you have any questions related to our church ministries, and our events/activities locally or CLC-wide, I'm happy to assist you in every way possible!
A Huge THANK YOU to Kristin!
At the same time, on behalf of our Church Board and the Leadership Council, I want to express our heartfelt appreciation to Kristin Abujan, whose last day at work will be in early August. Kristin has been a huge blessing to our church community. She has truly played a significant role in helping the church make Jesus known here and around the world! While we will all surely miss Kristin, we wish her the best as she moves 4 hours away from Guelph and starts law school in the fall.
As the Lord causes our church family to grow, we are very blessed to see the next generation step up with us. Pastor Happy and I look forward to witnessing all the great things the Lord will continue to do as He works through our office team! Please take the time to be acquainted with Ritzael. A Note from Kristin
I have been serving as a volunteer in this local church for almost half of my life, but it has been such a privilege to have been a part of the staff team. It has been a joyful experience to witness how God works through His people, using each of us to be vessels of His love to expand His kingdom.
While I am sad to go, I am completely confident and excited for all that God is going to do through Ritzael, our new Ministry Engagement Coordinator. Most of all, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for all the support I have received from you, our church family. To our pastors, leaders, volunteers, and members, your encouragements have made serving alongside you an incredible joy!
