Breakthrough: ALIGN

As we reflect on the challenge of aligning our lives with God's heart and principles, it's essential to recognize that the journey of faith is a continuous process that must be recalibrated and realigned. In moments when you feel the pull or push in the opposite direction, remember that missteps don't define you.

Instead, they highlight areas where God's transformative power is at work.  Every failure or stumble is not the end, its’ just another opportunity to get back on the right path.

Breakthrough: ALIGN

Focusing on Alignment

Jan 7-11

As Psalm 19:14 puts it this way,

14“May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
    be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. “

Our prayer and meditations should be honest, heartfelt expressions to the Lord Most High. A heart that meditates on the glory of the Lord and lifts up the Lord Jesus Christ is a heart that demonstrated grace and beauty, and is a heart that is willing to be transformed.

Let us embrace the journey of alignment with grace, knowing that God is not surprised by our imperfections; He is, in fact, eager to guide us back to His intended path.

We should look at these misalignments as opportunities for growth rather than reasons to despair. Let us celebrate every victory and every breakthrough we have. Continue on to persevere and surrender all aspects of our lives to the Lord.

Invite God into the specifics of your life—your thoughts, goals, habits, and priorities. Not only in your spiritual journey but also in your health, your finances, and even your relationships. Let His loving presence be the compass that directs you towards a life aligned with His heart.

Matthew 6:33-34 tells us we must seek His kingdom first and all His righteousness, and everything that aligns with God and His will shall be given to us.

33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

This is a call to prioritize spiritual and God-centered matters over worldly concerns. It means placing God at the forefront of our lives, seeking His will, and living in accordance with His righteousness.

Jesus assures that when we prioritize our Father, our essential needs will be provided. The "things" mentioned earlier in the chapter refer to the necessities of life like food, clothing, and shelter. The emphasis here is on trusting God's provision.

It’s time to LET GO and LET GOD.

The process of alignment is not about perfection but about surrendering yourself into God's shaping hands. As you navigate this journey, lean on His grace and mercy. Trust that every step towards alignment is a step towards a deeper, more fulfilling relationship with Jesus. Trust that you’re not alone. We are all in this together.

May you find strength in the knowledge that God is with you every step of the way, gently guiding you towards a life that reflects His love and purpose.

Let’s pray together;

Lord Jesus, I submit my life to you. I invite you to touch each area of my life and make it pleasing to your will.  Forgive me for any missteps and guide me back to Your path. Illuminate my thoughts with Your truth and direct my steps in righteousness. Help me surrender my priorities to You, trusting in Your wisdom. Be my constant guide and may my life reflect Your love.

In Jesus' name, we pray.

Amen.
